Wild Son creates quality merino baby blankets right here in New Zealand. Wild Son values the longevity of their quality product providing families forever pieces for their little ones. When Jacqui approached us to bring her brand to life, we were tasked with developing a brand identity that felt natural with playful elements to reflect the name Wild Son. The brand system needed to be flexible enough to be used across social media, packaging, web design and brand collateral such as tissue paper, stickers and thank you cards.
We opted for a neutral colour palette and hand drawn typeface to create an organic, natural feel that reflects the nature of the Wild Sons product. The logo has a star, moon and sun symbol incorporated into it creating a playful, whimsical feeling. The logo is paired with an array of hand drawn plant shapes that have been used to create a playful brand pattern and can be used across brand collateral giving the option for more flexibility and variation.
